My daughter and her "trail family" had spent 2 nights stranded in a Spring "winter storm" at a shelter. Kim was so helpful and when they arrived they were thrilled with how nice it was, 2 bathrooms! They had a wonderful time recovering from their first month on the trail and headed out after two days ready to tackle the rest of their AT adventure.

We’ve stayed at Southern Nights every year since our honeymoon, and it continues to be our favorite anniversary tradition. This couples-only cabin is the perfect mix of cozy intimacy and modern comfort — with a relaxing indoor jacuzzi, a private hot tub on the back porch, and even a washer and dryer for convenience. It’s spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with every essential. Kim is an exceptional host who always goes above and beyond, greeting us with champagne and an anniversary sign that makes each visit feel personal and special. The cabin is close to everything in Gatlinburg, yet tucked away enough to feel completely peaceful — you can truly have it all here. We’ve even spotted bears on several visits, making every stay unforgettable. Southern Nights will always hold a special place in our hearts.

This one room cabin was the perfect size for my husband and me. I highly recommend it. The location was great. We were only 5 minutes from downtown and it was easy to get there.
